Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2025
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are commonly used to remember your preferences and maintain your session when using web applications.
2. Cookies We Use
StarDately uses essential cookies only. These are strictly necessary for the application to function and cannot be disabled.
Authentication session cookie — Keeps you signed in while using the application. This cookie expires after 24 hours or when you sign out.
CSRF token cookie — Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. This is a security measure that ensures form submissions originate from our application.
3. What We Do NOT Use
We are committed to your privacy. StarDately does not use:
Tracking cookies
Third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, etc.)
Advertising cookies
Social media tracking pixels
Fingerprinting or any other cross-site tracking technology
4. Third-Party Cookies
If you sign in using Google or Facebook OAuth, those services may set their own cookies during the authentication flow. These are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies. StarDately does not control or have access to third-party cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
Since we only use essential cookies, disabling them will prevent the application from functioning correctly (you won't be able to stay signed in).
You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. This will sign you out of StarDately.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we ever need to introduce additional cookies (which we currently have no plans to do), we will update this policy and notify users before any changes take effect.
