1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StarDately, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Account Terms

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.

One person may not maintain more than one account. Accounts registered by automated methods (bots) are not permitted.

3. Acceptable Use

StarDately is a personal travel tracking application. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose: recording and visualizing your own travel history.

You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems

• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities

• Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all travel data you enter into StarDately, including flight records, hotel stays, and trip information. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You may export or delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep StarDately available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

StarDately is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in displayed information.

Flight data retrieved from third-party APIs (such as FlightAware) is provided for informational purposes only and may not be accurate or up-to-date.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted. We are not obligated to retain or provide copies of your data after account deletion.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
